At the moment im making a replica of the BRR bigmini out of wood. It should be nearly done by tomorow night. Ive done the centre frames and are left to do the outside bodywork, coping, transition and final touches of sanding.
Here is a pic of my progress so far:

Will be doing more tomorow, i will be updating this thread along the way with more pics and info so look out for the finished product.

Ok i got the backs of it on and have all the platforms and braces ready to be cut out. That should only take 10min with jigsaw so that will all be done by tomorow.

After i get the Platforms on all i have to do is stick on the transition, finish the rail, and do all the fine sanding and finishing touches. Should be done soon.

Due date to be finished: 5th June
More updates to come!

man, that should be pretty fun when done.
i make my minis different, but your way is better. i just nail down a sheet of plastic to a board near the middle (depending on how long i want the flat to be), then nail blocks under the opposite sides of the plastic until the desired tranny. you have to be careful because if you have too much of a flat, and you want the tranny high, it's easy to snap some kinds of plastic.

my halfpipe is just maple fitted into a styrofoam mold. maple was wetted down so it could curve without breaking.
