from the looks of it he just used some thin craft wood and glue. to cut the peices you could use really anything, but the shape can be more precise with a table saw.

Hey man the Granite i got in a big slab from my friend so im not sure where you would get it. I then used a tile cutter to cut the peices and glued it together with liquid nails. And i got the Plaster of pariss from my local hardware store. Hoppe this has helped.

And here is my big mini prototype. I still need to glue some, of the coping on add coping and put veneer over the cardboard transition. I will be making a far better one from plywood and veneer later, but this does the job:

haha, thanks man. if you miss and your deck drops in the fan, it spits it out really hard and it takes out anything that's standing upright on my desk.
